Thanks to the successful continuation of large-scale educational reforms initiated by Hero-Arkadag and consistently implemented under the wise leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, all conditions have been created in the country for perfecting the national education system, enabling youth to master advanced knowledge and unlock their intellectual potential on the international stage.
A vivid confirmation of the effective implementation of these goals was the successful performance of Turkmen schoolchildren at the “FIRST Global Challenge 2026” World Robotics Championship held in the Republic of Korea. The young representatives of our country won a silver medal in the “Skills Challenge” category (individual classification) and a bronze medal in the “Winning Alliance” category (team classification).
Teams from 185 countries competed in the championship, which took place on October 7–10 in the city of Incheon. The national team of Turkmenistan comprised students from Specialized Secondary School No. 97 with advanced study of foreign languages in Ashgabat: Suhan Novbatov, Oraznyyaz Rejepov, Aznavur Cholukov, Dayhan Gurbanov, and Arslan Babajiyev, who demonstrated a high level of preparation and professional skill.
The national team was coached by Murat Sahetgulyyev, a teacher at Specialized Educational Complex No. 1 in Arkadag City, and Davut Gurbanov, a student at Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University.
Organized annually in the format of the Olympic Games, the “FIRST Global Challenge” international tournament was dedicated this time to “Igniting Innovation”.
Such victories will continue to inspire the younger generation to new achievements, contributing to the steady enhancement of the prestige of independent, neutral Turkmenistan in the global scientific and educational space. We wish good health, longevity, and success in their multifaceted activities to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who create all opportunities for the comprehensive development of youth!
