The B.B.Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University of the Russian Federation held an online international Olympiad in the subject “Russian language and local history”. More than 200 students attended the Olympiad from higher education institutions of the People’s Republic of China, Mongolia, Vietnam, the Kingdom of Thailand, the Republic of Turkiye, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Kazakhstan, Africa and students from Magtymguly Turkmen State University from Turkmenistan.
Oguldursun Akmuhammedova, a 5th-year student of the Russian language and literature department who participated in the Olympiad under the guidance of Jennet Shamyeva, a teacher of the Russian language and literature department of the University, was declared the winner, and other students from Russian language and literature and history departments took second place.
