The twelfth Road Safety Month, under the motto “Road Safety – Peace of Mind,” will begin in all regions of Turkmenistan on September 1, 2026.
As part of this large-scale campaign, ministries and relevant agencies will organize thematic seminars and conferences for drivers and pedestrians, while educational institutions and businesses will host special educational events aimed at increasing the legal literacy of road users.
With the start of the school year, special attention will be paid to areas adjacent to schools, kindergartens, and universities. Traffic control officers and eco-bike teams will increase patrols near educational institutions.
The country’s relevant law regulates ensuring order on the roads, and violators are subject to penalties in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses.
