At a government meeting on September 11, Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova reported on the plan of celebrations and events planned to mark the glorious 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
It was reported that in honor of this significant date, various forums, exhibitions, creative meetings, educational events, and song and music celebrations will be held in September of this year.
These include: the musical celebration titled “Arkadagly Gahryman Serdarymyzyň belent maksatlarynyň aýdyň ýollary”, honoring citizens who have been awarded state awards, the award ceremony for the winners of the competition for the Prize of the President of Turkmenistan “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry”, flower-laying ceremonies at the Independence Monument and raising the State Flag on the main flag squares in the velayats and the city of Arkadag, as well as a parade, a festive concert, etc.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the 35th anniversary of the sacred independence of the Fatherland is approaching and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the celebrations and events marking the country’s main holiday and ensure their high level of organization.
