The international economic forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” will be held in Kazan on May 13–14. Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will lead the Turkmen delegation. This was announced at a government meeting on May 1.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov reported that during the visit, the Turkmen side will participate in related events, including the “Russia-Islamic World Cooperation EXPO” exhibitions and conferences, the “International Real Estate Market” exhibition, the “Kazan Halal Market” trade fair, and the “Modest Fashion Day” festival. Equestrian competitions are also planned.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of properly organizing the participation of the country’s representatives in the Kazan events and instructed the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to continue strengthening cooperation with foreign partners in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, scientific, and educational spheres.
