The Third Regional Youth Conference, RCOY Central Asia 2026, has opened in Samarkand, focusing on the pressing issues of water security and climate justice.
Over 100 active participants from Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Turkmenistan are taking part in the international forum.
Over the course of three days, participants undergo intensive training on developing participant potential, project management, and attracting investment.
The main outcome of the meeting will be a regional youth statement, bringing together proposals from delegates across the Central Asian region. The best initiatives will be presented this November at the UN Climate Change Conference in Antalya, Türkiye.
The program will conclude with an ecological tour to the Zarafshan National Park.
The forum was organized in collaboration with leading ministries, agencies, the «Zamin» International Public Foundation, and UNICEF.
