Guided by the objectives defined in national strategies and programs, several international scientific and practical conferences are planned to be held digitally at certain higher education institutions in this October. Deputy Prime Minister B. Mammedov reported on this at a government meeting on September 11.
Thus, the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering will host an international scientific and practical conference entitled “The Role of Innovative Technologies in the Construction and Industrial Complex,” and the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan will host “National Artificial Intelligence Technologies: Digital Economy, Smart Diversification, Sustainable Development.”
Along with students and faculty from domestic higher education institutions and Turkmen scientists, representatives from reputable universities around the world and major international organizations will participate in the forums.
The conferences aim to explore best practices in implementing the concept of a “green,” safe, and “smart” city, as well as in the production of innovative building materials, automation of production processes, and the implementation of robotics. They will also discuss the practical and innovative potential of artificial intelligence technologies in areas such as smart economic diversification, digitalization, and sustainable development.
In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for consideration by the head of state.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noting that the country is training highly qualified specialists and strengthening international cooperation in scientific and educational fields, approved the proposal and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work.
