The 5th International Children’s Cultural Forum took place in Moscow, bringing together creative youth from 17 countries. Students from the Special Music Boarding School of the Maya Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory represented Turkmenistan at the large-scale event, according to the country’s International Information Center.
The three-day forum’s program was particularly rich. Participants enjoyed creative meetings with leading figures in Russian culture and art, themed concerts, and a series of master classes in music and dance. As part of the cultural and educational portion of the program, the Turkmen delegates also visited the Russian capital’s main attractions.
The forum’s final gala concert was a vibrant highlight. The audience’s attention was particularly captivated by the performance of Aishat Rejepova, a 12th-grade student in the boarding school’s choreography department and a winner of international competitions. The soloist performed an expressive piece to the renowned music of the eminent composer Nura Khalmammedov, earning thunderous applause from the audience.
Following the forum, six gifted students from Turkmenistan were awarded special certificates from the Russian Ministry of Culture, confirming their high level of performance skills and contribution to the development of international creative dialogue.
