FIFA amateur football expert Gaioz Darsadze (Georgia) and FIFA expert Raimondas Statkevičius (Lithuania), who are in Turkmenistan on working visits, held a training seminar with specialists from the Football Federation of Turkmenistan. The meeting took place in the conference hall of the Yildiz Hotel in Ashgabat.
During the training seminar, a detailed exchange of views took place on the current state of amateur football development in Turkmenistan, the programs being implemented in this area, and future plans. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of effective methods for developing amateur football in various regions of the country, the organization of mass football events, and the use of international experience in this area.
Following the discussions, the main goals and priorities for the development of amateur football were analyzed, relevant proposals were developed, and ways for their practical implementation were identified. FIFA experts shared professional recommendations and presented a number of initiatives aimed at further improving work in this area.
At the end of the training seminar, the results of the discussions were summarized and an analytical review was conducted. Several thematic sessions and working meetings are planned for the training seminar, which will run from January 20 to 24.
