Today, on August 8, the flag lowering ceremony for Turkmenistan and the United Nations was held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone to mark the end of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, UN Under-Secretary-General, High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States Rabab Fatima, guests participating in the international forum, and representatives of the media.
