Bazar Amanov State Children’s Library, in cooperation with the “Mahabat” Directorate of the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan, organized a creative competition among school students entitled “Children’s Imagination — The Magic Pen of creativity” within the framework of the Year “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — the Land of the Swift Horse and High Aspirations.”
The competition aimed to encourage young people to pursue education, expand incentive mechanisms for engaging school students in the social and cultural life of the country, identify and promote the best initiatives, and reveal children’s creative talents, abilities, and original ideas. In accordance with the competition guidelines, participants submitted short stories reflecting the motto of the year.
The “Mahabat” Directorate broadcast the submitted works on television, and the winner was determined based on the results of SMS voting by viewers.
Three winners were awarded Certificates of Honour and commemorative gifts by the Bazar Amanov State Children’s Library. They were also granted a five-day stay at the “Şowhun” Hotel in the Awaza National Tourist Zone together with one accompanying family member.
First place was awarded to Melike Jumaberdiyeva, a student of Specialized Secondary School No. 12 in Oguzhan etrap of Mary province. Second place went to Ayjemal Ashyrova, a 10th-grade student of Secondary School No. 55 in Ashgabat. Third place was awarded to Alihan Kuwatberdiyev, a 4th-grade student of Secondary School No. 30 in Ashgabat. School administrators, teachers, and fellow students ceremonially congratulated the winners.
