According to the National Statistics Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, last year, 28954 citizens of the country went abroad for education. This figure is 19.3 percent or 6900 people less than in 2024.
The top five countries where the largest number of citizens of Uzbekistan went to study are: Russia – 6498 people; Tajikistan – 6039 people; Kyrgyz Republic – 4648; Republic of Korea – 3513 and Türkiye – 2496 people.
Next on the list are China 1259 people, Kazakhstan 1097 people, Great Britain 886 people, Germany 391 people and the USA 351 people).
