Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan will hold cross Culture Days, as reported by ru.apa.az.
It is noted that the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Azerbaijan will be held in October of this year and the Days of Culture of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan – in April 2026. The cultural events will be a practical implementation of the agreements reached at the trilateral meeting in the Awaza National Tourist Zone on August 22. Following the meeting of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a joint statement was adopted, which paid special attention to the development of humanitarian cooperation between the countries of the region. “The parties discussed priority areas of cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, emphasizing the importance of contacts between the relevant government agencies and public associations, research centers, higher education institutions, the media, cultural and art figures,” the document says.
