On January 3, the celebration of the birthday of Hazrati Aly (a.s.), a prominent figure of the Islamic world, was held in the Center of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan. In the official part of the event, Abdolreza Abbasi, adviser on cultural affairs of Iran’s Islamic Republic of Turkmenistan, made a speech. In their speeches, they congratulated the guests on the birthday of Hazrati Aly (a.s.), New Year’s Day and Father’s Day.
In his speech, he wished that the year 2026 would bring peace and property to the people of Iran and Turkmenistan, as well as to all Muslim communities. During his speech, he said that the awarding of the President of Turkmenistan with the medal “30th anniversary of the prominent neutrality of the Turkmenistan” to Mr. Ali Mojtaba Ruzbehani, was a sign of high-level friendship between the two countries. Therefore, Abdolreza Abbasi talked about the importance of serving parents in Islamic and Turkmen culture.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan, Ali Mojtaba Ruzbehani, made a speech and congratulated those present on the holiday. In his speech, he highly appreciated the humanistic features and fatherly dignity of Hazrati Ali (a.s.), and said the wise words: “The life path of Hazrati Ali (a.s.) is not only the legacy of a historical figure, but also an eternal school of justice, patience and love for all humanity, especially for fathers who are the pillars of the family hearth.”
The festive event was not limited to official speeches, but was also rich in various cultural highlights. During the program, songs performed by the choir of the Cultural Center in Persian and Russian, as well as performances by singers Shanazar Shirnazarov and Arslan Berdiyev, added a special zest to the celebration.
The poems prepared by Persian language students, Mekan Murrikov’s article, and humorous scenes from life made a great impression on the participants. The videos “100 Seconds” and “In the Name of My Father” honored the role of fathers in our lives and the memory of historical figures, including Lieutenant General Haji Qasem Soleimani. The fun contest between fathers and their sons further enhanced the family warmth.
The participation of local and international media representatives in this event gave special importance to the event. The Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran thanked the journalists and media representatives who participated in the coverage of the event for their contribution to the development of cultural and humanitarian relations between the two countries and presented them with commemorative gifts. Also, during the ceremony, the winners of the contests and the active Persian language learners were presented with commemorative gifts in a solemn atmosphere.
The festive event concluded with national dishes and sweets served to the guests, which left unforgettable impressions on the participants. This event was another important step towards closer cultural and spiritual ties between neighboring nations.
