On 1 September, as part of the EXPO-2025 World Exhibition held in Osaka, Japan, a festive event dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan took place at the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan.
The event aimed to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, exquisite carpet art and traditional national costumes to the world community. Special attention was given to the achievements of Turkmen textile industry.
Exhibition guests were introduced to the beauty of Turkmen carpets, the symbolism behind national patterns, and the modern level of development of textile products. During the event, speeches were made on Turkmenistan’s achievements in the textile industry and carpet weaving.
One of the most striking moments of the event was the presentation of Turkmen national costumes. Modern models in traditional style, created by the Fashion House of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, aroused great interest among the audience.
The program also featured a master class on Turkmen carpet art, where guests learned about the intricacies of weaving, the meanings of patterns, and the rich traditions of carpet making.
The festive events made a valuable contribution to the development of international cultural cooperation and wide recognition of the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people in the world.
