Holiday shopping in Turkmenistan’s shopping centers, markets, and stores will begin on December 5 in honor of International Neutrality Day and the upcoming New Year. Deputy Prime Minister N. Atagulyev announced this at a government meeting on November 28.
Mobile retail outlets are also planned. A corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for his consideration.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of taking appropriate measures to fully meet the public’s demand for various products during the upcoming holidays.
Noting the need to properly organize mobile retail outlets and ensure markets and stores have sufficient food supplies, including vegetables, melons, and fruits and berries, the head of state issued the Deputy Prime Minister with relevant instructions.
