Today, in honor of the 17th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the international forum “Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan” commenced at a high organizational level at the “Yıldız” hotel in the capital of Turkmenistan. As previously reported, for attracting investments in the private sector the international forum IFT2025, is organized by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the “TMT Consulting Group” company. More than 200 representatives from 26 countries arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the forum. Representatives of ministries and sectoral government agencies of the country, foreign investors, heads of large companies, and specialists in the economy and innovation sectors actively participated in the international forum.
The IFT 2025 International Forum includes sections such as: Developments in Turkmenistan’s private sector: achievements and opportunities; Supporting small and medium-sized businesses: international and national experiences; Circular economy: the role of the private sector in the modern development of Turkmenistan’s industrial, construction, transport, and tourism sectors; and Achievements and program directions of the private sector in introducing innovations in agriculture.
The forum also provided an opportunity for the heads of local and foreign companies to meet. Participants discussed potential projects, explored investment opportunities, and received information about Turkmenistan’s leading economic sectors.
Overall, the international forum served as an important platform for discussing investment opportunities in Turkmenistan’s private sector, exchanging experiences, and establishing partnerships between government agencies and the private sector.
