Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will visit Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan in December. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced this during the opening of the first forum of Caspian region governors.
“The Iranian President visited Russia and Azerbaijan, which were very successful. Next month, he will visit Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan,” the statement said.
The first forum of governors of the Caspian regions is taking place on November 18-19 in the city of Rasht, the administrative center of the northern Iranian province of Gilan.
Representatives from Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan are participating in the event. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade Mohammad Atabak, and Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Reza Salehi-Amiri represent Iran.
