The international cooperation of the International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD) in the global educational space is reaching new horizons. As a result of the systematic efforts carried out in this direction, two students of the university — Yhlas Komekov and Soltanmyrat Tairov — have been sent to the Republic of Italy to participate in a five-month exchange program under the framework of the European Union’s Erasmus+ student mobility scheme.
Currently, our students are enhancing their knowledge in their respective fields at one of Italy’s prestigious higher education institutions, G. d’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara (Università degli Studi “G. d’Annunzio” Chieti – Pescara). This project marks the first-ever student exchange experience between IUHD and the aforementioned Italian university, opening a new chapter in the educational and cultural relations between the two institutions of higher learning.
This program provides students with broad opportunities not only to familiarize themselves with European educational standards but also to gain practical experience in the fields of international politics and diplomacy, improve their foreign language proficiency, and worthily represent the education system of Turkmenistan on the world stage. During their studies in the city of Pescara, the students are establishing cultural and scientific ties with peers from various countries, contributing to the strengthening of mutual understanding and friendship.
The successful implementation of such international educational projects for the first time is a clear result of the modern educational policy established by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and further advanced by our Honorable President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar. These opportunities provided for the youth of our country to study and gain experience in the world’s most advanced educational institutions serve the development of high-level specialists in the future.
