As part of the KidsExpo: “Everything for children” exhibition-fair, which will be held from August 21 to 23, mental arithmetic competitions will be held among schoolchildren.
The competitions, jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and educational centers, will bring together about 120 schoolchildren aged 6-14 from all over the country. In addition to young talents, one of the honored guests of these competitions will be Melik Duyar. He is the founder and head of the “Mega Hafyza” organization, one of the founders of the MEMORIAD World Federation of Intellectual Sports, and is also an international referee. “Mega Hafyza” is located in Ankara, teaches children of different ages to learn by rote, and prepares appropriate educational materials.
According to the plan, students will compete in the Flash Anzan Marathon of Mental Arithmetic. The competition will last 45-50 minutes.
Then the final round of six competitions “Unseen Talents” on children’s abilities will be held and will be determined by voting via SMS.
As part of the competitions, talented students of our country will try to set world records in 3 types of mental arithmetic:
Quick Flash Anzan. Adding 150 2-digit numbers alternating at a speed of 0.3 seconds. The result must be correct 5 times in a row.
Fastest addition by memory. Correctly adding 100 1-digit numbers from the table on the screen. The result must be correct 3 times in a row.
Fastest multiplication by memory. Quickly and correctly multiplying 8-digit numbers by 8-digit numbers 10 times in a row.
At the end of the competitions, participants and winners will be awarded commemorative incentive gifts and Certificates of Honor.

The competition, held as part of the exhibition at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, starts at 14:00.
