President Sadyr Zhaparov signed the law “On ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Egypt on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, service and special passports, signed in Cairo on November 4, 2025”.
The Kyrgyz Parliament adopted the law on March 12, 2026.
This document was developed in order to carry out internal procedures for the entry into force of the said agreement. According to the agreement, citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Egypt – holders of diplomatic, service and special passports – are exempted from visa requirements when entering, exiting and transiting the territories of the two states.
In this case, the period of visa-free stay should not exceed 90 days within 180 days.
