The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Head of the Office of the President of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliyev reported at a meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services that the production volume in the construction
sector of Kyrgyzstan has increased eightfold over the past 6 years. According to him, the country’s construction sector, demonstrating stable positive growth, is one of the important directions of the national economy. In 2025, the production volumes of this sector reached 438.5 billion soms (over 5 billion US dollars). In 2019, this indicator was 58.5 billion soms. “Thus, the sector has grown eightfold in six years,” Kasymaliyev noted.
In 2021, the state’s allocation of more than 170 billion soms to the construction sector allowed it to achieve record growth indicators and complete the construction of 936 vital buildings.
