On June 3, a cultural event titled “Masters of Innovation and Art: Contribution of the Turkic World to World Science and Culture” was held at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Berlin. This event jointly organized by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), the Embassies of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Federal Republic of Germany.

TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Rayev, representatives of the German Foreign Ministry, government agencies, scientific and cultural organizations, higher education institutions, leaders and representatives of the diplomatic corps, Turkmen students studying at higher education institutions in Berlin, and representatives of the Turkmen diaspora, attended the event.

The exhibition, organized as part of the event, featured examples of fine and decorative arts, traditional folk crafts, national costumes, jewelry, and musical instruments belonging to the Turkic peoples.

Also at the opening ceremony of the conference “Masters of Innovation and Art: Contribution of the Turkic World to World Science and Culture,” the Turkmen side spoke about Turkmenistan’s international cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, including interaction with TURKSOY.

After the conference, the event continued with musical performances by Turkic-speaking peoples.
