Today, June 6, the exhibition “Meeting Cultures and Mutual Dialogue” opened at the Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. Organized by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, the exhibition is open to enthusiasts of world culture and is divided into two parts. The first part features exhibits made of the famous Chinese Dehua porcelain, while the second presents horse accessories and figurines.

Pure and exquisite, Dehua porcelain is considered an eternal beauty of Chinese art and a symbol of Chinese cultural prestige worldwide. The exhibition highlights 40 modern types of this porcelain.

Just as with the Turkmen people, horses hold a special place in Chinese culture. Traditions associated with Chinese equestrian culture boast a history spanning thousands of years, evidenced by the presence of the Year of the Horse in the Chinese calendar. The upcoming year 2026 also falls under the Year of the Horse. The exhibition dedicated to horses features a number of horse figurines.

This exhibition, which offers an opportunity to explore Chinese culture, will run for a month.
