American entrepreneurs Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates took the top three spots on Forbes magazine’s list of the top 250 American innovators.
“Elon Musk is the first person in history to found five multibillion-dollar companies across multiple industries. Jeff Bezos revolutionized the American retail industry, pioneered cloud computing, and is working to return humans to the moon and develop artificial intelligence. Bill Gates, dissatisfied with the personal computer revolution and Microsoft’s dominance in the software market, became a generous philanthropist who helped eradicate polio in India,” reads the description of the top three spots.
The magazine’s top three also included Star Wars director George Lucas, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Nike co-founder Phil Knight, and other renowned entrepreneurial innovators.
