American businessman Elon Musk has announced that his SpaceX company will build cities on the Moon and Mars in the coming decades. The billionaire believes that the construction of cities on the Moon will begin in about ten years.
For example, he plans to start building a city on Mars in five to six years. “But it will take more than 20 years to complete it,” Musk wrote on the social media. According to the plans of the corporation he heads, it will be possible to get to Mars in six months, and to the Moon in just two days.
Musk believes that spacecraft can be launched to Mars and the Moon every ten days.
