On September 1, the first bell rang in all educational institutions of the country, announcing the beginning of the new 2025-2026 academic year.
According to a noble tradition, the first day of the new academic year began with the laying of flowers at the Independence Monument and the monuments of Berdimuhamet Annayev, erected at the Berdimuhamet Annayev Pedagogical Secondary Professional School in the city of Arkadag and at Secondary School No. 27 in the village of Yzgant, Geoktepe etrap, Ahal velayat.
On the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, ceremonial assemblies were held in all secondary and higher educational institutions of the country, at which a congratulatory Address by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was read, expressing wishes to the younger generation for success in the world of knowledge and science.
The first lesson was dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the upcoming celebration of the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of the Fatherland.
The Era of the Revival of the new era of a powerful state is a time of rapid advancement of the Fatherland along the path of reforms, due to the high level of development of education and teaching, the introduction of scientific and technological achievements. On the holiday, children entering the world of knowledge for the first time are presented with Bilimli computers.
On the beginning of the new academic year, ceremonial openings of four new comprehensive schools for 2,800 students and 4 kindergartens for 1,120 students were held in the capital and Lebap velayat. The events were attended by deputies of the Mejlis, members of velayat, city and etrap khalk maslakhaty, representatives of local executive authorities and public organizations, respected elders, residents of cities and villages.
Thus, kindergartens for 160 children were opened in Ashgabat in the Parahat-7 residential complex, for 320 children in the Choganly residential complex of Bagtyyarlyk etrap, for 320 children on Senagat Street of Buzmeyin etrap, and for 320 children in the Yasmansalyk residential complex of Bagtyyarlyk etrap. This is a clear result of the state’s boundless care for the younger generation.
The opening ceremonies of comprehensive schools in the capital, for 960 and 720 children, respectively, in the Parahat-7 residential complex and in the Choganly residential complex of Bagtyyarlyk etrap, were also unforgettable. The new comprehensive school for 400 children is a wonderful holiday gift for the residents of Bekaryk village of Khojaili gengeshlik of Charjev etrap of Lebap velayat.
The ceremonies of commissioning educational facilities, accompanied by musical performances by artists and creative groups, became a national holiday.
