As is known, on October 18, 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Xi’an, People’s Republic of China, between Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, Xi’an Petroleum University, Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University, China National Petroleum Corporation, and the China Education Association for International Exchange, with the aim of establishing the Lu Ban Workshop. Within the framework of the signed Memorandum, professors and teachers from both higher education institutions of China visited our country on a working visit. The purpose of their visit was to establish the Lu Ban Workshop at Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and to exchange experience with a related higher education institution.
During their working visit, professors from the People’s Republic of China will conduct a weeklong professional development course for young university teachers on the introduction of new technologies in the fields of informatics and applied geology.
Studying the experience of related foreign universities is of great importance in training high-level specialists for the oil and gas industry.
