The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree establishing hakimliks in the country’s new administrative units.
Specifically, the establishment of the hakimlik of Altyn Asyr etrap in Ahal velayat, the hakimliks of Garashsyzlyk and Gubadag etraps in Dashoguz velayat, the Farab, Dovletly, and Garabekevul etraps in Lebap velayat, and the hakimlik of Oguzhan etrap in Mary velayat was approved.
The hakimliks of these velayats, in conjunction with the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, and the Ministry of Justice, were instructed to develop draft structures and staffing schedules for submission to the Cabinet of Ministers.
The measures are aimed at implementing the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socioeconomic Development of the Country in 2022–2028” and the “National Program for the Transformation of Social and Living Conditions of the Population” in a new edition.
