New Yutong passenger buses have entered city routes in the capital of Turkmenistan. The 12-meter three-door vehicles with air conditioning have begun serving passengers.
The buses are equipped with engines that meet Euro-5 environmental standards. Payment for travel is made through a digital system.
The vehicles have devices for tracking the boarding and disembarking of passengers. A system for monitoring the movement of the bus and the driver’s work using video surveillance, GPS and video cameras has been installed.
The buses have conditions for passengers with disabilities and a voice notification system for arrival at stops.
In total, 700 new Chinese-made buses have arrived in Ashgabat as part of the renewal of the city’s bus fleet.
