Nvidia is investing 1 billion dollar in Nokia’s equity for joint developments in artificial intelligence, Bloomberg reports.
The American company will acquire a 2.9% stake in the Finnish telecommunications equipment manufacturer, previously known as a leading mobile phone maker.
As part of the partnership, Nvidia will supply chips for testing Nokia’s software designed for 5G and 6G networks. These technologies are planned to be used in Nvidia data centers.
