A two-day training course on mobile journalism and smartphone-based media content production, organized by the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat, has concluded.
The course gathered representatives from various Turkmen media outlets seeking to master contemporary tools and methods for producing timely, high-quality content.
Participants acquired valuable knowledge and practical skills in smartphone photography and videography, audio recording, editing, and material publication. Emphasis was placed on the principles of quality journalism, ethical standards, and fact-checking within mobile reporting.
International experts Yuri Zvyagintsev (Russia) and Jamshed Marupov (Tajikistan) shared best international practices in mobile journalism, discussing the latest applications and technologies for efficient professional media content creation.
Participants learned shooting techniques for diverse lighting conditions and mastered frame composition and video editing on mobile devices.
The course aimed to equip Turkmen media professionals with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively utilize smartphones in their work, enabling rapid event coverage and engaging audience content creation.
Participants praised the training’s practical focus and its relevance to the rapidly evolving media landscape. The acquired knowledge will enhance their multimedia content creation capabilities and improve their work efficiency.
