To welcome the New Year 2026 and host high-quality festive events in Ashgabat, New Year’s trees will be decorated in major cultural centers, along avenues, in recreation parks, and in venues hosting cultural events. Deputy Prime Minister B. Annamamedov reported this at a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on November 28.
Preparations are also underway to decorate the country’s main New Year’s tree in front of the Älem Cultural and Entertainment Center and the surrounding area. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state’s consideration.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noting the importance of high-quality festive decorations in the capital for the New Year, addressed the Deputy Prime Minister with the relevant instructions.
