A presentation of the book “Magtymguly – The Sage of the World” by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, was held at Sunway University Malaysia on March 26, 2025. The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia.
The presentation was attended by the university faculty and students from Turkmenistan studying at the university.
In his speech, M. Mashalov, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Malaysia, discussed the content of the book “Magtymguly – The Sage of the World,” emphasizing the importance of the poet’s work in promoting the principles of peace and trust.
It was emphasized that, by a special Resolution of the UN General Assembly initiated by the President of Turkmenistan, 2025 was declared the “International Year of Peace and Trust,” which also coincides with the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. The participants paid particular attention to the importance of Turkmenistan’s policy of positive neutrality and its application as a constructive mechanism for strengthening global peace and stability.
At the end of the event, the book “Magtymguly – The Sage of the World” by the President of Turkmenistan was presented to the Sunway University library.
