From February 16 to 26, 2026, Iranian professors and teachers conducted professional development courses on Persian language and literature for teachers and students of higher educational institutions of our country at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, organized by the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan. Ahmadighader Shahnaz and Sheikhi Tahmine, teachers of Persian language and literature of the Saadi Foundation of the Islamic Republic of Iran conducted the courses.
The courses were attended by teachers and students of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Dovletmammet Azady Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute, and the State Institute of Energy of Turkmenistan.
The priority task of education policy in the country is to create an advanced system of training specialists whose level of education meets high international requirements. As is known, in accordance with the Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026-2052, it is planned to fundamentally improve educational work, consistently improve the professional level of professors and teachers, youth, strengthen the material and technical base of higher education institutions, and include higher education institutions in international lists of the world’s best. Currently, various trainings are being held in our country with the participation of professors and teachers from leading world universities.
Professional development courses for teachers and students of higher education institutions in Persian language and literature at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University were a clear confirmation of this. At the end of the courses, certificates were awarded to the participants.
