On September 23, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, A.Movlamov, and the First Secretary of the Embassy, B.Yazov, visited Bahria University in Islamabad, Pakistan.
According to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen delegation met with the university’s Director General, Naim Sarwar, and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Professor Adam Saud. They discussed prospects for cooperation in science, education, academic exchange, and joint research projects.
Afterward, the embassy representatives held a general lesson on “The role of Turkmenistan’s positive neutrality policy in strengthening peace and trust.” In his speech, the First Secretary of the Embassy spoke about Turkmenistan’s positive neutrality policy and its role in strengthening peace and mutual trust. He also emphasized the importance of the Global Security Strategy put forward by the President of Turkmenistan, energy projects such as TAPI and TOP, as well as the International Year of Peace and Trust and the International Forum to be held on December 12, which is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
Following the general lesson, students showed great interest in the topic and asked questions related to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, the use of the region’s transport and logistics potential, and the prospects for implementing the TAPI and TPP energy projects.
