Turkmen FIFA referees Resul Mamedov and Akhmet Begnazarov have been appointed to officiate the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers in Saudi Arabia.
In the opening match of Group D, held in Ahmedabad, India, Resul Mamedov served as the referee, and Akhmet Begnazarov as the assistant referee. The match between the Indian and Palestinian youth teams was evenly contested and ended in a 1-1 draw.
