On October 5-6, 2025, the International Forum of Teachers of Central Asia was held in the city of Nukus of this country, organized by the Ministry of Pre-School and Secondary Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Representatives from educational institutions of the countries of the region, international organizations and a number of prestigious educational centers of the world participated in the forum. The Minister of Pre-School and Secondary Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan attended the opening ceremony of the forum. Moreover participated to the event representatives of international organizations such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the British Council, Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Marshall Cavendish Education and MIT. The speeches discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the education sector of the countries of the region, improving the professional level of teachers, forming an ecological culture among youth, introducing digital technologies and developing modern educational methods.
During the forum, the teachers of the delegation participated in meetings with international participants, presentations of projects and cultural programs.
The participation of representatives of Turkmenistan in this international forum will serve to strengthen international cooperation in the development of the education system in our country, to study world experience, and to introduce new initiatives.
