On April 5, the results of the first round of the Turkmenistan Football Championship were announced. Four matches were played during the round.
The current national champion, Arkadag, confidently defeated Merv with a score of 7:1. Altyn Asyr, hosting Ashgabat, also started with a victory, 4:1.
In other matches of the tour, which took place on April 4, Ahal won a major victory over Kopetdag at their home stadium – 5:1, and Shagadam beat Nebitchi with a minimal score of 1:0.
The second round of the Turkmenistan Championship will take place on April 11 and 12. The teams will be:

“Ashgabat” – “Shagadam”
“Kopetdag” – “Altyn Asyr”
