On the eve of the New Year holidays, the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs held a citywide English language competition, “Neutrality – the Anthem of Our Languages,”.
Students in 12th grade from secondary schools in Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag participated in the intellectual competition.
The competition brought together approximately 200 high school students from 67 general education institutions, including schools with an in-depth English language program. Participants demonstrated a high level of foreign language proficiency, good preparation, as well as a creative approach and a genuine interest in learning English.
Based on the results of the competition, the jury selected the winners, who took first, second, and third place. The best participants were awarded diplomas of their respective degrees and commemorative gifts.
The competition was aimed at supporting government initiatives in education, developing the national scientific and educational system, nurturing a well-rounded youth, and preparing future professionals. Particular attention was also paid to improving the teaching of foreign languages and bringing its level into line with international standards.
