Language teachers of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages regularly participate in professional development courses conducted by professors from prestigious universities around the world.
Within the framework of the Agreement on Educational Exchange and Cooperation between the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and the University of Tsukuba, Japan, on February 27, 2026, Japanese language teachers and students of our institute took part in a live video seminar entitled “Methodology of Teaching Japanese Language Concepts.” The seminar was conducted by Hidaka Shinsuke, Associate Professor at the Institute of Humanities of the University of Tsukuba, Japan.
During the seminar, Associate Professor Hidaka Shinsuke shared valuable insights into the methodology of teaching the Japanese language and explained the specific features of Japanese linguistic concepts. Students actively participated in question-and-answer discussions on modern approaches to teaching Japanese, demonstrating their proficiency and level of knowledge.
As noted by Iwai Yufu, a Japanese language teacher working at the institute, Turkmen–Japanese cooperation is yielding positive results in the field of education, and the number of Turkmen youth interested in learning Japanese continues to grow. This initiative represents an important step in strengthening scientific and educational relations between the two countries.
