The Serbian Parliament on Wednesday approved the composition of a new cabinet of ministers led by Djuro Matsuta, amid mass protests that have been ongoing in the country for several months, IPN reports.
In the new cabinet, two-thirds of the ministers — 20 out of 30 — were part of the previous government led by Miloš Vučević, the leader of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party, who resigned in January at the height of the protests.

Matsuta, a doctor by training, is not affiliated with any political party but supports President Aleksandar Vučić and condemns the protests. The new government was backed by 153 members of parliament, while 46 voted against it.
