On March 31, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.
Following an exchange of greetings, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed congratulations and best wishes to each other and to the fraternal peoples of both countries on the occasion of the holy of Oraza.
The President of Iran conveyed his best wishes to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and noted that Iran attaches great importance to the development of multilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov relayed greetings and warm congratulations on the occasion of the holy of Oraza to President Masoud Pezeshkian from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The leaders noted with satisfaction the high level of relations between Turkmenistan and Iran, based on the principles of equality, good neighborliness, and mutual respect.
During the conversation, it was noted that fraternal ties between the two countries are actively developing in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian sectors.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov confirmed his readiness to make efforts to further develop friendly relations across a wide range of issues between the two states, in the interests of the Turkmen and Iranian peoples.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited President Masoud Pezeshkian to visit Turkmenistan. In turn, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran invited the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the President of Turkmenistan to visit Iran at a time of their convenience.
At the end of the conversation, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Masoud Pezeshkian wished each other good health, happiness, and success in their respective state duties, and peace, well-being, and prosperity to the fraternal peoples of Turkmenistan and Iran.
