On November 14, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a conference in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in Almaty.
A meeting with Turkmen students studying in Almaty was held in the university’s conference hall. Participants were briefed in detail on the results of the regular meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan held on September 19, 2025.
Speakers particularly emphasized the importance of adopting the Constitutional Law “On the Legal Foundations of the Peace and Trust Policy of Neutral Turkmenistan.”
It was noted that 2025 will be marked by a number of important events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s declaration of permanent Neutrality, as well as preparations for the upcoming International Forum on Peace and Trust.
Participants were shown a video highlighting Turkmenistan’s achievements over the years of independent development. Turkmen students performed songs, poems, and the national dance “Kushtdepdi.”
A meeting was also held between a representative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the university leadership, during which current issues related to students’ education were discussed.
