At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on August 29, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced upcoming events dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and Students.
According to the President’s statement, the country will celebrate the Day of Knowledge and Students on September 1. On this day, the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will be opened in Ashgabat, and an additional educational building of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan will be opened in the city of Mary. A number of schools and kindergartens will also open in the capital and velayats.
The opening of the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is characterized as an important event for the country. In this regard, the President asked the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to take part in the opening ceremony of the university.
At the end of the meeting, the President congratulated the meeting participants, education workers and young people on the Day of Knowledge and the beginning of the school year.
