A children’s football festival, bringing together young football enthusiasts, was held at the Dovletliler Palace Sports Complex. The Football Federation of Turkmenistan with the support of the Dovletliler Palace initiated the event.
During the festival, young athletes participated in a series of training sessions and game exercises aimed at improving technical skills, developing speed, coordination, and teamwork skills. The event program was tailored to the participants’ age groups and was both educational and competitive.
Following the festival, all young football players received commemorative gifts—balls and sports uniforms—from the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, which served as additional incentive for them to continue their athletic pursuits.
It’s worth noting that similar children’s football festivals have previously been held at various sports venues across the country, including the stadiums of the specialized children’s and youth football school of the Olympic reserve of the Ashgabat Main Department of Physical Culture and Sports, the Olimp sports school, the Ahal province sports boarding school in the Gokdepe (Babarap), and the Kopetdag football club at the Kopetdag sports complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Holding such events contributes to the development of grassroots football, the popularization of a healthy lifestyle, and the identification of promising young players.
