On May 15, 2025, the final competition of youth innovative startup projects was held at Turkmen-Indian Center for Information Technologies. The competition was organized with the aim of developing young people’s creative thinking abilities and encouraging the implementation of projects based on modern technologies, as reported on official website of Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The competition was held in collaboration with the “Union of Economists of Turkmenistan” PA, “Achievements of Turkmen Youth” PA, “Maslahatly Chozgut” Economic Society, and “Export Consulting” Economic Society organizations.

More than 40 project works in various fields were submitted to the competition from higher and secondary vocational educational schools of our country.

During the competition, the innovative projects prepared by the youth covered various fields, and their activeness, depth of thought, and harmony with modern technologies were particularly noted. Additionally, the economic significance of the projects, their social benefits, technical foundation, and future development prospects were also analyzed.

As a result, based on the decision of the panel of judges, several young participants distinguished by their creative approaches were announced as winners, with the following 8 projects selected as the best in their specified categories.

1st Place: Maryam Jelalova (individual) – 2nd-year student of Finance and Economics Vocational School of Mary velayat. Project: “Tapnote” – an innovative method for promoting companies.

2nd Place: Gojuk Gurbanov, clinical resident (2nd year), Department of Postgraduate Surgery, Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan; Gadam Soyegov, 6th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan (team project). Project: “Kesgitle” – an online software solution for career identification and educational enhancement.

3rd Place: Jeyhun Jumashov and Baynazar Muhammedov (team project) – 3rd-year students at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan. Project: “Hazyna Stock” – a digital media platform.

  1. Special Category – “Social Entrepreneurship”:

Kabegul Ilmyradova and Aylar Gayypova (team project) – 1st-year students of Ashgabat Construction Vocational School. Project: “Gunça gülleri” – a line of beautiful and long-lasting flowers made from ribbons, offering accessible and eco-friendly options for home and holiday decorations.

  1. Special Category – “Women’s Entrepreneurship”

Ayna Yollyyeva (individual) – 4th-year student of Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan. Project: An innovative method for generating electricity from saline water.

III. Special Category – “Digital Innovations”

Muhammet Yakubov, teacher of physics at Secondary School No. 6 in Tagtabazar etrap of Mary velayat; Rustam Kakamyradovich Habybov, 5th-year student of State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan (team project). Project: The use of Li-Fi technology.

  1. Special Category – “Green Economy”

Ogulnabat Saryyeva, a lecturer of Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction; Kakajan Merdanovich Kakayev, 2nd-year student of same institute (team project). Project: “Agro Chemistry” – determining the potential and technological basis for raw material processing, and assessing the productivity and usefulness of the resulting technology.

  1. Category: “Best Mentor–Apprentice Pair”

Merdan Rustamov (individual) – a lecturer of Magtymguly Turkmen State University. Project: “Turkmen Mentality” – a specially developed training program for tourists, implemented through an online website.

The winners were awarded encouragement prizes prepared by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan, and  Turkmen-Indian Center for Information Technologies.
