In honor of the 34th anniversary of Independence of our country, a creative competition has been announced to promote the formation of environmental culture and respect for nature. The initiators were the editorial board of the newspaper “Watan” together with the public organization “Ýaş tebigatçy” (Young Naturalist).
The competition, entitled “Young Naturalist: Green World, Prosperous Future”, is aimed at reflecting on the pages of the newspaper the work on the protection of the natural beauty of Turkmenistan, the rational use of its wealth, as well as the contribution to the improvement of the environment. Particular attention will be paid to the formation of environmental culture in the younger generation.
Members of the public organization “Ýaş tebigatçy” can take part in the competition. The organizers accept works in various genres, including articles, poems, stories and other works. An important condition is that the submitted materials should not have previously been published in the media or participated in other competitions.
The competition works should reflect the achievements of Independent Turkmenistan and its influence on the peaceful development of the region and the world as a whole, as well as love and respect for nature and activities aimed at developing the country’s “green” economy.
Participants must attach information about themselves to their works, including their place of study or work, residential address and contact phone numbers.
Works are accepted by e-mail: watan@sanly.tm. The subject of the letter must include the note: “Young naturalist: green world, prosperous future”.
The last day for submitting competition works is September 19, 2025.
The results of the competition will be announced in September 2025. The winners will receive Certificates of Honor and memorable prizes.
