From November 7–11, a delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Minister of Culture Atageldi Shamyradov, is participating in the 26th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), which is taking place in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
More than 160 delegations from around the world are participating in the event.
Key areas for the development of the tourism industry are being discussed during the session, including the implementation of digital and innovative solutions, expanding international cooperation, and enhancing the sustainability and inclusiveness of tourism.
This year’s theme is “Artificial Intelligence-Powered Tourism: Reimagining the Future,” highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in shaping the new architecture of global tourism.
