A conference was held within the framework of the project “Environmental issues, social needs and appropriate governance in the education and employment sectors of Central Asia” (ESGCA) at the Tajik National University in the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dushanbe. Teachers attended it from the Yagshigeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University and the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.
During the conference, which brought together teachers and specialists from Central Asian countries, seminars and meetings were held on the creation and use of environmentally friendly technologies in the science and education sector, improving the environmental awareness of young people, financial support for innovations, and the development of new educational methods.
In addition, the “round table” meetings organized in an atmosphere of mutual exchange of views and openness included presentations on environmental measures implemented in Central Asian countries, including Turkmenistan, efficient use of water, new approaches to alternative energy sources, the positive impact of modern hydrological technologies on production, deep processing of oil and gas, and the achievement of waste-free production.
